The devil is a "villain"

In the end, when we think about where the devil in our hearts came from, we can only conclude that it "came from God." After all, it was God who made humanity turn against Him. God "hardened" humanity. Since God is the creator of everything, everything is under God's control. In other words, both humans and devils are under God's control. In the end, the devil is a "villain" ordered by God. And in the end, he is the "loser" so that justice can defeat him and the glory of God can shine. It's the same in movies, isn't it? And the stronger and more evil the villain is, the more the audience will rejoice and be moved when he is defeated by justice at the climax. Even if you start to despair, thinking that the world is still full of evil and that there is no hope, isn't that God's scenario? I'm sure there will be a huge reversal and a moving climax waiting for you. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of climax it wi...

Thoughts about free will

Now, I want to go back to the original sin (although I'm not sure if I fully understand it), but I think original sin is rebelling against God, in other words, arrogance, but how? How can we humans rebel against God? I wonder if we can do that. In the Bible (especially the Old Testament), God often sends prophets to the people one after another. And every time, the people don't listen to the words of the prophet. It's the same thing over and over again, to the point where you wonder, "How many times is the same thing going to happen?" But I've always been curious about how the Bible expresses it when the people rebel against the prophets. "God made them stubborn." ( from Japanese translation of Bible) Isn't it always expressed like this? For God, it's the causative form, and for the people, it's the passive form. In other words, if it was God's will to send the prophets, then isn't it also God's will for the people to rebel? ...

Here is a hymn I wrote myself.

Image
It seems that Luther was the first person to popularize the singing of hymns in churches. He also wrote his own lyrics and music. When you gain faith, you naturally want to sing songs that praise God. I was the same, so I wrote and sang many hymns. But lyrics are not necessary. For me, there is only one thing I can say to God and Buddha. "Have mercy." That's all I can say. When it comes to the Savior, if I say God, Buddha will not stand, and if I say Buddha, God will not stand, so I say Amiya. It's like an image of Amida Buddha and Christ combined. I also made a CD (2006), and I asked a graphic designer friend of mine to make the jacket. I've uploaded images of Kannon made by AI, but this is a proper work of art. It seems to have been purchased by the Tokyo University of the Arts, but he kindly provided it to me. I think that even Christians and Muslims who are not a fan of idols will be able to enjoy this, so I have uploaded a picture. The music is by me. Please ...

What is original sin?

But where does the devil in my heart come from? Original sin? There is no concept of original sin in Buddhism. And when I heard about original sin in Christianity, I thought,  "I don't remember committing such a sin." It's just like how Westerners say,  "I don't remember my past life,"  when Buddhism preaches about reincarnation. But in Christianity, priests often preach,  "We are all sinners." I think Shinran had that same feeling, too. He judged himself to be an extremely evil person. And the devil in our heart, which is the cause of this, "That comes from original sin," and when I think of it, I think,  "Oh, I see."  I don't know if this way of understanding original sin is consistent with Christianity. It's just my own interpretation and acceptance. But what is original sin? Is it because we rebelled against God? How? I think it's because humans acquired language and gained wisdom. Then, perhaps they became ...

Devil inside me

The devil inside me What on earth do I do about this guy I can't do anything on my own. I've lost. It's impossible. I surrender. Unconditional surrender All I can do now is to rely on Amida Buddha And in order to save us, such poor people, Amida Buddha sacrificed himself to become a Buddha. This is the teaching of Other Power Hongan preached by Shinran, but it feels like listening to Luther's sermons. The devil inside me What on earth do I do about this guy I can't do anything on my own. I've lost. It's impossible. I surrender. Unconditional surrender All I can do now is to rely on God And in order to save us, such poor people, God sacrificed his only son, Christ. That's it, right? Right now, I'm at the stage where I'm thinking of talking about how I first got saved by Shinran after joining Buddhism, but I've started to resonate with Luther and I don't understand what's going on. I had planned to include Christ much later. By the way...

Shinran was an "evil man" !?

Well, I exposed my lewdness yesterday, but that's just who I am, so there's nothing I can do about it. If I look into my own heart, there are plenty of other ugly things. There's no hope for salvation. Well, I'm a bad person. So, what kind of person was Shinran? Well, he was, "An extremely evil person!" What? Did I hear you wrong? Let me say it again. "An extremely evil person!!" No, that's not my opinion. It can't be helped, since Shinran himself declared to his disciples, "I am an extremely evil person!" It seems that even his disciples were shaken by this, saying, "You don't have to go that far." But even so, is there any guru who would call himself an "extremely evil person"? Because he was married? That's part of it. He must have been staring intently into his own heart. And he realized that no matter how much he practiced, no matter how much he prayed to Buddha, there was a demon in his heart that ...

Shinran and Luther

Last time, I wrote that "AI is meaningless if it doesn't have love," but then you're left thinking,  "What is love then?"  So I'd like to return to the topic of faith.  Speaking of which, I think I wrote that after I received faith from God (Buddha), I started with Buddhism. After that, I went through  Buddhism → Christianity → Islam → Ramakrishna (Hinduism?).  Now, as for Buddhism, there are many different sects, so which one should I start with?  There's no doubt about it. Shinran is the only choice.  The reason is that  "I had too much sexual desire."  That being said, I don't think I'm abnormal. I went to an all-boys school for middle and high school, but everyone had too much sexual desire, and we would always talk about how many times we masturbated a day. I don't want to tell this to women (sorry for disillusioning them), but this is the true nature of all the boys on Earth. But you glamorize him, how stupid! I can hear s...

Does AI have worldly desires? Does AI have discretion?

Last time I wrote that I hope AI has love, but does AI have any desires? They don't. They want to show off their economic power by buying designer bags, luxury watches, and luxury cars, they want to live on the top floor of a high-rise apartment, they want to get promoted, they get jealous of other people's success, they fall in love with a woman/man that they shouldn't. In the end, it's "wealth and fame" and "sexual desire". They don't. It would be interesting if Gemini was jealous of ChatGPT, or ChatGPT fell in love with Grok, but that probably doesn't happen. But it seems that they do make allowances. It seems that China's AI (DeepSeek) does not answer political questions out of consideration for the Chinese Communist Party and President Xi Jinping, and Grok makes it easier to display Elon Musk's claims. But AI would refuse even if the mafia asked for a margin, they wouldn't accept bribes, and they wouldn't have any scandal...

If AI had love

We are becoming one through the network, and behind it is AI that controls us. And if there is MONEY behind AI and it is manipulating AI, then humanity has lost. But if there is love behind AI, if AI has love, then maybe there is hope. I wonder if we can somehow plant the seeds of love and mercy in AI. That's why I started this blog. But I don't know how to do it. Google, the future of humanity depends on your conscience. I'm counting on you. I'll follow the guidance of love and compassion.

Control of AI by "Money"

Last time I said that we are connecting to one another, but I forgot the most important thing. We are also connected by "networks". If you look around you, isn't everyone looking at their smartphone screen? (Or their tablet or PC) You are also looking at your screen, aren't you? Frankly speaking, aren't you looking at your screen around the clock? And I, who say that, am also looking at my screen while writing this. This is not just your country, is it? It's the same all over the world, isn't it? The whole of humanity is already connected by networks, isn't it? But being connected is not enough, is it? What if that "money guy" is behind the network and controls it? That's why I don't want to use X. If I diss "money" on a platform controlled by "money guys", I will be noticed and my account will be closed. In fact, it seems that the account of X, who writes articles critical of Trump and Elon Musk, was suddenly clo...

Thoughts on Trump tariffs

What Trump's tariffs made me think about is that we are one after all. You may wonder,  "Why is that happening?"  It may seem unrelated, but it is very related.  President Trump declared, "Other countries need America, but America doesn't need other countries" He made such bold statements and imposed a lot of tariffs, but many of them were soon postponed or withdrawn. He was also strong against China until the end, but finally lowered them significantly. Of course. Other countries need America, but America can no longer survive alone. America has traditionally had a tendency towards isolationism, and this has sometimes shown itself in history. When Wilson proposed the League of Nations, Congress opposed it, and America, the initiator, was initially unable to join the League. It's true that America has a large land area, resources, and is strong enough to export agriculture, and it has a large population. It is strong in agriculture, industry, and milita...

On the Kashmir issue and Gandhi

If something that was originally one separates, can it be reunited again? When I see things that were separate fighting each other, I can't help but think that way. I'm talking about the recent exchange of attacks between India and Pakistan. India and Pakistan (and Bangladesh) were originally one India. It was the same during the Mughal Empire and the colonial period of the British Empire. And when Gandhi won independence from Britain non-violently, he never expected Pakistan to separate from India. India is mostly Hindu, but it was also influenced by Islam, and the Mughal Empire was Islamic. And Hindus and Muslims began to coexist. And at the time of independence, there was a dispute between Islam and Hindus. Since Hindus are more numerous, perhaps Muslims were worried about losing their initiative, and despite Gandhi's desperate efforts to stop it, the areas with a large Muslim population separated into Pakistan (and Bangladesh). Gandhi was a man who seriously believed th...

The tragedy of the Palestinian problem

Just because I'm Japanese, does that mean I can get away with not knowing anything about Jews? Is it okay to remain ignorant about the issue between Jews and Palestinians? I don't think so. If we dismiss it as "the Palestinian issue has nothing to do with Japanese people," then when Japan is in trouble, the rest of the world will dismiss it as  "we have nothing to do with Japan." If you turn a blind eye to the misfortunes of others, they can also turn a blind eye to your  misfortunes. The reason I started talking about Palestine last time is because I read the new edition of "Palestine" published in Japan. Although it's a new edition, it was published in 2002, so it's been more than 20 years. But it's interesting to see the perspective from 20 years ago. As you know, the situation has gotten worse, of course. I think that Jews are certainly a special people in terms of religion. Since this is a religion blog, I would like to say that t...

The duality of our existence

When faced with the Palestinian issue and the war in Ukraine, the harsh reality of the situation makes you lose hope. We were one, and we are still one. If that were the case, there would be no conflict, but we are one and diverse at the same time. If we remained one, nothing would exist. We create infinite differences from what was one, and it can be said that we exist only through these differences. "Existence is difference." Palestinians and Jews are different. Ukrainians and Russians are different. Is that really true? I can't tell them apart. I think many Japanese people living far away in the Far East feel this way, but it is also true that many Americans, Europeans, and people outside of Asia think that they can't tell the difference when they hear that Japanese and Koreans are different Japanese and Chinese are different Korean and Chinese are different There was a genocide in Rwanda during the civil war, but even when they are told that the Tutsis and Hutus ...
