Does sexual desire also decline as we move from a high birth rate and high death rate to a low birth rate and low death rate?

Last time, I said that "sexual desire is sacred insofar as it is connected to love, marriage, and life," but how strictly this is interpreted varies depending on the religion or sect. The strictest interpretation would mean that even contraception is forbidden, and there are actually some sects that preach this.

It's true that animals don't practice contraception, but that's because even if many offspring are born, many are eaten, and the population is naturally balanced. In other words, they have a high birth rate and high death rate.

Until recently, humans also lived in a high birth rate and high death rate society. It was common for a single mother to give birth to five or six children. It could be said that a strong sex drive was necessary to maintain that level of reproductive ability.

However, in modern times, we have shifted to a society with low birth rates and low death rates. With scientific advances, sanitation has improved and infant mortality rates have declined. However, if sex desire remains the same, we will have a high birth rate and low birth rate. Naturally, this will lead to a population explosion and an unsustainable society.

In a society with low birth rates and low death rates, sex desire may not need to be as strong as it once was. But the transition from a society with high birthrate and high death rate to one with low birthrate and low death rate was so sudden that the human body couldn't keep up with the adjustment. It takes time for the body to evolve, after all.

So, humans will always have a strong sex drive, and that's why it's a problem, but maybe that's just me. Or rather, maybe it's just my generation. My generation was the last to transition from a society with high birth rates and high death rates to one with low birth rates and low death rates, so maybe I still carry that trait with me, but although I fall in love easily (I feel like I fall in love easily even among my own generation), when I look at the younger generation today, they don't seem to be as aggressive. Herbivores? Is that what you'd call them? It seems like there are more and more of them like that. Maybe our bodies are adapting to a society with low birth rates and low death rates. And surprisingly quickly.

I hear that men's sperm counts are actually declining. It's not just their sex drive, but their fertility itself may be degenerating. It seems like sexless marriages are on the rise, too.

I'm not sure if this is a good thing. What we can say is that all living things have no choice but to adapt to changes in their environment in order to survive. If humanity is to avoid destruction from population explosion and a transition to a society with low birth rates and low death rates is inevitable for survival, then bodily functions will have no choice but to adapt.

However, if sexual desire is an effective means of physical communication to deepen the bond of love between husband and wife, then God would likely forgive it even if it does not lead to the reproduction of life.

Also, if the body itself has already adapted to a society with low birth rates and low death rates and the couple no longer wants to do it, but the bond between husband and wife continues to grow, then that would also be God's will.

I don't know which of these will be the outcome. Everything is up to God's will.

In the end, relationships between men and women

"Whatever happens, happens."

It would be rude to discuss this any further. Well, I'll leave it at that for today.

Let love and compassion guide me.
