Do not use evil for the cause of good ~ Why God Forbids Terrorism
Instead of being obsessed with love forever, I'd like to talk about something a little more serious. And that is:
"Evil must not be used for a good cause."
People often say, "A little evil is permissible as a means to a good cause," but that's not true. If we accept that, we would also be accepting violence, deception, and terrorism.
"I want to realize the good cause, but even I'm not strong enough. So let's cheat a little."
Do you really think God would say something like that? That would mean God is powerless. He's not omniscient or omnipotent at all. In other words, he is not God. If there was a God who said that, he would be a fake.
In the end, people who accept the use of evil for a good cause don't trust God. They don't believe God is omniscient or omnipotent. In other words, they don't believe in God. They lack faith. They don't believe in God, they believe in their own strength.
So, what do we do when we're faced with a difficult situation where, at first glance, we have no choice but to choose evil as a means to a good cause? At that time,
"I am facing difficulties for a good cause, but I will not use evil means. I will do my best with good means and leave the rest to God's will."
In other words,
"Once I have exhausted all good means, the rest is up to you, God."
That's all you need to say. Then God
"Well done. Leave the rest to me. I'll take care of it."
At least, that's what I believe. That's how I respond. Because I truly believe in God. An all-knowing, all-powerful, merciful, and loving God would never tempt us to use evil means, even for a good cause.
No matter what difficulties I face,
"I have done what I needed to do with good means. I leave the rest to God."
I leave it to God. God's will is unfathomable, and sometimes it may seem like a righteous cause won't be realized immediately. But that's because we can only measure things in a short span of time. God may be thinking on a scale so vast it's unfathomable to us. So even if I believe "all people will be saved," I also think it might not happen right away. But in the end, God (or Buddha) will definitely do it. So believe in God, believe in Buddha.
"Never use evil for a righteous cause."
