Will all people be saved? - Islam Edition

 Does Islam save everyone?

I asked Muhammad, and when I said, "Allah will save everyone," he said,

"You shouldn't say that too much. Everyone will be too relieved."

This is what the prophet said in a hadith after he secretly revealed to his favorite young man how merciful God is. This "You shouldn't say that too much. Everyone will be too relieved." may not have been a counter-phrase to "Allah will save everyone," but that's how I read it. As always, I read the scriptures as a completely personal experience, "experiential," so it's probably out of the question in terms of doctrine, but if I proceed "following the guidance of love and mercy," I have no choice but to read it that way.

Anyway, what would happen if the great and merciful Allah couldn't save even one ordinary person? If you say that people can't be saved if they don't believe, then all He has to do is make them believe. What can we do if the great and merciful Allah cannot change the hearts of ordinary people? The reason why some people do not believe is because God has made them stubborn. If God wanted to, He could easily bestow the grace of faith on everyone. The reason why many of us are unbelievers in modern times is because of some reason, and it is only temporary.

I cannot imagine that Allah would not save someone even though He has the power to do so.

"If He wanted to, He could save someone, but He does not save them."

There is no way that such a thing could happen to the merciful Allah (God). When I think about it, it seems self-evident, even without looking for the words in the hadith or the Quran.

So I believe that Islam should save everyone.

Guided by love and mercy,
