Will all people be saved? - Ramakrishna Edition

Will all people be saved? Finally, let's ask Ramakrishna (probably Hindu?). Having said that, I forgot to ask Ramakrishna directly. Having gone through Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam, and finally arriving at Ramakrishna, it seemed like such a question that it no longer mattered. Finally, the "flood of love" "The universe is in the womb of God." That's what I think he said. Since we are all in God's womb, how could we not be saved? It's unthinkable. We are all in the amniotic fluid of God's love. I think that's enough. If we were to say "all people will be saved," it would be a disaster for religion as a business. It's precisely because they say, "You won't be saved if you continue like this," that they make people anxious, asking, "So what can I do to be saved?" Then they go on to say things like, "We'll exorcise evil spirits," and demand donations, in other words, "Give me money....

Will all people be saved? - Islam Edition

Does Islam save everyone? I asked Muhammad, and when I said, "Allah will save everyone," he said,  "You shouldn't say that too much. Everyone will be too relieved." This is what the prophet said in a hadith after he secretly revealed to his favorite young man how merciful God is. This "You shouldn't say that too much. Everyone will be too relieved." may not have been a counter-phrase to "Allah will save everyone," but that's how I read it. As always, I read the scriptures as a completely personal experience, "experiential," so it's probably out of the question in terms of doctrine, but if I proceed "following the guidance of love and mercy," I have no choice but to read it that way. Anyway, what would happen if the great and merciful Allah couldn't save even one ordinary person? If you say that people can't be saved if they don't believe, then all He has to do is make them believe. What can we do i...

Will All People Be Saved? - Christian Edition

Will all people be saved? Let's ask Christianity next. Christ came to this world to redeem mankind, so what was the point of the cross if He didn't save everyone? Also, I wonder what the point of teaching "love your enemies" was if He didn't love and save His greatest enemy, the unbelievers. What does this mean for Christian doctrine? There were Christian clergymen like Origen who extended God's salvation to Gentiles (unbelievers). I just asked ChatGPT and they wrote that Origen taught that even demons will be saved in the end, so I guess it's similar to what I said about Iblis (the Islamic devil) being saved. But that idea seems to be considered heresy. So I asked Augustine, the greatest Christian church father, and in his famous writings, he said something along the lines of,  "It seems that some people try to extend God's salvation to non-believers, but if they insist, I won't stop them."  This is a subtle answer. "If you insist,...

"Will all people be saved?" - What is Nichiren's answer?

This is just my own criteria, but when I'm unsure whether a religion is real or fake, I ask, "Does it save those who don't believe?" In other words, "Does it save everyone?" If it answers "Yes," it's real, and if it answers "No," it's fake. This is just my own criteria. For Shinran, it was "Yes." What about Nichiren? Me: "Does Buddha save those who don't believe?" Nichiren: "I can't say." Me: "I'll ask again, does Buddha save everyone?" Nichiren: "I can't say." Me: "Isn't that holding back the law? I'll ask again one last time. Does Buddha save those who don't believe? Does Buddha save everyone?" Nichiren: "Then let me try and say it. Buddha saves even those who slander the true Dharma." Thank you. In other words, Nichiren's answer was "Yes." At this moment,  "I saw the light of mercy in Nichiren! " This is ac...

How to distinguish between real and fake religion

Although all religions are like various paths to the same goal, there are many fake ones disguised as religions, so we need a way to distinguish between real and fake. Whenever I'm unsure whether something is real or not, I always ask, "Does that god, Buddha, or Gohonzon save those who don't believe?" I think this is a nasty question, or a mean question, or a devil's question, but it's a test of the ultimate. In short, it's asking, "Will it save everyone?" Now, let's start with Buddhism, as for Shinran, or rather Jodo Shinshu. The answer is "YES!" I'll try to give an overview of it to the best of my understanding. Amida Buddha vowed not to become a Buddha until all sentient beings became Buddhas. This alone declares that all people will be saved, including those who do not believe, but there is a slight problem here... "However, the five cardinal sins and ten evil deeds  are excluded" "However, those who slander ...

The scriptures are love letters to humanity

Image
When I read the Buddhist scriptures, I feel like the Buddha is trying to woo me. It's so persistent that I'm like, "Okay, I get it. You're so persistent. All I have to do is believe, right? I have no choice, so I'll believe in you." It's like the solicitation of some noisy new religion. Usually, you have to work hard, practice hard, and finally the Buddha will respond, turn to you, God will turn to you, but for some reason, in my case, the relationship is reversed. The Buddha is the one who is desperate, and it comes to me. The Buddha is desperately trying to somehow turn all living beings to him. The Buddhist scriptures are love letters sent from the Buddha to all living beings. The holy scriptures are love letters sent from God to humanity. Buddhist scriptures, holy scriptures, are confessions of love, messages of love, love letters to humanity, desperately trying to convey how much the Buddha ,or God, loves us. This is true of Buddhist scriptures, the ...
