Cancer of humanity

Last time, we started talking about work, but somehow we got into politics, saying that "me first" is wrong, but since this is a religious site, I don't want to go into it too much.

What I want to say is,

"We are actually one."

I think it's easiest to understand this by imagining the relationship between humans and cells.

Each cell is certainly alive, but if each cell were to say "me first!" and act selfishly, trying to monopolize nutrients for itself, the person would be ruined. Only when the person as a whole is healthy and wholesome can each cell be alive. If a cell or tissue acts selfishly, trying to monopolize nutrients without considering the interests of the whole, the person as a whole would get sick and eventually die. Then the selfish cell or tissue would die too. Doesn't this look like something? Yes. It's cancer cells. Cancer occurs when cells lose their natural control and start to grow on their own. It then metastasizes to another location and begins to grow on its own there, metastasizing to yet another location, and so on... And the whole thing dies. Of course, the cancer cells die at this point too.

Doesn't this seem similar to the state of the world today?

"Ego-first" starts in one place, metastasizes to another part of the world, where "ego-first" grows, and then metastasizes to yet another location...

Isn't that terrible?

This is a "cancer" of the human race.
