The real climax
Well, the downfall of the arrogant has been repeated many times throughout history, but I think it is not the end, and there must be a great climax after that, so I will try to write about it.
"The greatest attack to defeat evil is 'unconditional love'. This is what the devil is weakest at, and when you do this, he is really troubled, overwhelmed, and can no longer be the devil."
I think I wrote this before. However, in history, when evil has been defeated, it is often by force such as violence, and it does not seem to have been defeated by "unconditional love".
When defeating evil by force, you see the enemy as evil and kill the enemy.
However, when defeating evil with "unconditional love", you do not kill the enemy, but turn the enemy into an ally and let the enemy live.
This is the amazing thing about defeating evil with love. Since it is God who gave us life, he must have the ability to save all life.
"Love your enemies."
That's what God means when he says that.
"Thou shalt not kill."
Killing is also forbidden in Buddhism.
So the real climax is yet to come. After the arrogant ones are defeated, they are saved by unconditional love and taken back from the devil's hands by God. Just like the prodigal son returns to his father at the end. The enemy returns as an ally.
That's what it means when I say that the devil can no longer be the devil.
But you have to pay for the sins you've committed. Evil deeds cannot be forgiven. Because actions have consequences. So who will settle the score?
God himself will pay for them.
And while committing evil deeds, you can pin the blame on God and go to heaven with ease.
And here we are in front of the lotus pond in paradise. If you look at the bottom of the pond from there, you can get a good view of hell. Sinners are burning in the flames of hell to pay for their sins. And you witness that it is your beloved son, your only child, who is paying for your sins. Even if you don't have a son in life, you witness the being you would want to protect even at the cost of your own life, paying for your sins on your behalf.
This is no longer about heaven. It's far from paradise.
If it was going to be like this, it would have been better for them to go to hell. It's not too late.
And so, even though they had gone to heaven, everyone jumps into the lotus pond and goes straight to hell. Hell is hell, and that's just as troublesome. The light of love keeps falling from heaven. Hell is no longer hell.
The beloved son who paid for our sins is Christ. Or it could be Amida Buddha. God sacrificed his beloved son to pay for our sins. That beloved son of God was the beloved son of each of us.
I think that the moment when we truly witness this will be the final, true climax.
It is the moment when we truly know the unconditional love that is directed towards us. Only then will the light of love in our hearts truly begin to shine. Our Buddha nature will blossom.
I feel like I haven't written everything yet, but I'll leave it here for today.
